Ever since he broke onto the scene with ‘My Name Is’ in 1999, Eminem has been recognized as one of the best rappers America has ever produced. Over the course of his long-running career, Em has released seven studio albums, with five of them shooting to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. So out of the LPs he has released thus far (March 14, 2012), which Eminem album is your favorite?

In 1996, Em independently released his debut studio album ‘Infinite,’ and despite its lack of mainstream success, this album help shape and guide Em towards the artist he is today. Mr. Mathers skyrocketed into the superstar realm after the release of his Grammy-winning, second studio album ‘The Slim Shady LP,’ featuring singles like ‘My Name Is’ and ‘Guilty Conscience’ with Dr. Dre. Next, in 2000, Em won a Grammy for Best Rap Album for his ‘Marshall Mathers LP,’ featuring singles like ‘Stan’ and ‘The Real Slim Shady.’

Eminem took home his third Grammy for Best Rap Album for 2002?s ‘The Eminem Show’ — the album produced hits like ‘Without Me,’ ‘Sing for the Moment,’ and ‘Cleanin’ Out My Closet.’ In 2004, the sharp-tongued rapper dropped ‘Encore,’ unleashing songs like ‘Mockingbird’ and ‘Like Toy Soldiers’ to his fans. In 2009, Slim Shady returned to music after a hiatus with ‘Relapse’ (‘Crack a Bottle,’ ‘We Made You’) and made a big comeback in 2010 with his critically-acclaimed album ‘Recovery’ (‘Love the Way You Lie,’ ‘Not Afraid,’ ‘No Love’).
